This book collects three plays by Ayn Rand that had previously been published separately. Night of January 16th was Rand's first play, and the only one of her plays to achieve success in her lifetime. The other two plays in the collection were not produced in her lifetime, although they have been performed subsequently. (One other play had a brief run and bombed. It is not included in this collection.) The text and prefaces for Ideal and Think Twice are reprinted from The Early Ayn Rand.
For reviews and links related to Night of January 16th, see the ORC page on that play. No other perspectives on this book are known to be available online. Readers are encouraged to bring any online reviews, criticisms or analysis to the attention of the ORC webmaster.
